What is the Xtend Barreā„¢

Workout?

The Xtend Barreā„¢ Workout is a fast-paced, 55-minute full body immersion that fuses dance, Pilates and sculpting exercises at the ballet barre and floor to give you a chiseled body – and fast!

If you have limited time, Xtend Barreā„¢ will take care of your upper body, abs, legs and butt in under an hour. If you go 3-4 times a week, it’s the only workout you really need. SEE SCHEDULE FOR MORE INFORMATION

Why is Xtend Barreā„¢ effective?

The Xtend Barreā„¢ method creates longer, leaner dancer-like bodies by incorporating strength, flexibility and endurance into one complete workout – something most workouts neglect.

By using a series of isometric exercises and orthopedic stretches, the Xtend Barreā„¢ system sculpts the body proportionally so that all body parts are equally challenged.

Strengthen your body

This class will tone your entire body.Ā  Plies will strengthen your legs and core while forced arch will work on toning your ankles and feet.Ā  Using small weights will help improve arm strength and keep you focused on your balance while working out. Not only will you notice changes in muscle tone but regular Xtend Barreā„¢classes will help to lower your heart rate and lower blood pressure.

Cross Training

Planning a half or full marathon? This class is an great way to cross train for an event.Ā  All of the isolated ballet movements will help to strengthen the muscles in your feet, ankles and legs.

Flexibility

Flexibility is key to getting the most out of your workouts.Ā  Along with strength training this class will stretch out every muscle in your body.Ā  This enables you to get a better more well balanced workout.
