There are  not that many of us who can say they were born and raised in Vancouver. I was born in North Vancouver, close to the mountains and nature. I love the outdoors; skiing, hiking, swimming, biking, running.

Being able to use the outside as your gym is a wonderful gift.
I’m fortunate to have my career in the fitness business. I’ve been in the industry for almost 30 years.  I have taught everything from hi/low , step, circuit training, bootcamp. You name it I’ve taught it, even worn leg warmers!!

I’ve done the Penticton IRONMAN Race 3 times,  numerous ½ IRON races, running ½ marathons and Marathons. I’m passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. Get fit, Live healthily, Love life is my motto because you’ve only got one go around so let’s make it happen.

photo2Meeting life challenges head on is apart of the aging process. With pilates and personal training we’ll fight the effects of aging and look towards longevity. Fitness is about having fun, enjoying life, movement, balance, strength and looking and feeling great from the inside out. Motivation is what gets you started, Habit is what keeps you going.

Jennifer is a certified Stott Pilates instructor with 11 years continuous experience who annually participates in ongoing training and certification (most recently Total Barre). She also finds equally deep reward as a dedicated dance instructor, with more than 20-years experience following her Bachelor of Arts with a major in dance (Simon Fraser University). Jennifer takes pride in planning and conducting thoughtfully tailored private client and group class sessions. She is well versed in providing clients with safe and effective exercise programs that meet all fitness levels and needs. Jennifer also has experience working with other health care providers such as physiotherapists and massage therapists, to help clients safely return to exercise after surgery or injuries. She prides herself on being a life long learner and is always looking for classes and training sessions to bring fun and innovative exercises to her clients.

photoRACHAEL POPE

Rachael’s love of movement began with dancing. While training in her early 20’s she discovered Pilates and quickly saw how much of an impact it was having on her dancing and on movement in her everyday life. Pilates helped her to re-balance her body, she was no longer dealing with constant injuries. Rachael’s clear common sense approach and obvious enthusiasm for Pilates helps her to motivate clients of all ages and fitness levels. Focusing on the fundamentals of form and breath in every session, Rachael guides her clients to develop better posture, core stability, alignment and a deeper body awareness leading to true functional fitness and a renewed connection with the strength and power in every persons body. She inspires her clients to take what they learn in their sessions and apply it to their every day lives. Every class is practical, hands on, and accompanied with a bit of humour to keep it light! Rachael is fully trained in all Pilates apparatus including mat, reformer, cadillac, chair and barrel work. As well as teaching Pilates she is also a certified dance instructor (RAD RTS) teaching ballet, jazz and modern dance throughout the lower mainland.
